An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen 🔖🔖🔖

Henrik Ibsen always amazes me. "A Doll's House" was ahead of his time. This play is one that stands the test of time: fitting for his social setting, fitting for ours. It's a great critique of society, government, and power. It isn't one that will leave you feeling empowered and emboldened, in my opinion, unless seeing lies win makes you angry enough to do something about it.

Overall good read. Plays aren't my favorites. Even though the message was a great one, it isn't one I need to own or recommend.
